Praying in tongues, how to boost your spiritual immune system.

November 1, 2018 By Emmanuel Onwuka Leave a Comment

praying in tongues

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5 NKJV

Do you pray in tongues?

Or are you part of the group that believes it’s not a big deal?

If you don’t pray in tongues there are certain spiritual heights you will never attain.

This is not a threat. It is the truth. Because in the wisdom of God, praying in tongues was the first gift Abba gave to His church.

Before we go deeper into that, do you still have struggles you will rather not have in your life?

Are you still tormented in your dreams? Do you still struggle to know what to do at a time? Or can’t control the desires of your body?

We all have something we struggle within our lives. And time doesn’t heal most struggles. You have to take your stand spiritually to end your struggles.

And the way to go about it is to pray in tongues.

Here are a few scriptures on praying in tongues;

But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Jude 20 AMPC

Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). Ephesians 6:18 AMPC

And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place,

When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.

And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them.

And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit [a]kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words]. Acts 2:1-4 AMPC

The first proof that the promised Spirit had come was praying in tongues.

Now imagine what this means to the Father. He had other gifts that could come on that particular day, yet He decided to start with the gift of tongues.

This is so important for you to see. Most of the struggles you have at this point in your life would be solved if you took praying in tongues serious.

One of the admonitions the apostles gave the church was to continue in prayer, praying everywhere.

But going by your busy schedule, how do you think you’ll fulfil this scripture?

It is through praying in tongues. It is so easy to do when you are conscious of it.

You can pray in tongues in a room full of other people without disturbing anyone.

The beauty is that you don’t even know what you are praying for, yet your spirit is interceding and communicating with the Father.

So it is important you take praying in tongues serious and start today if you don’t do it at the moment.

How then do you start praying in tongues?

The scripture I quoted earlier gives you a guide on how to start.

It was the Holy Spirit that gave them utterance, but they had to open their mouth and speak.

And this is the same with you. On the part of the Holy Spirit, He has already done all He can do to ensure that praying on tongues is easy for you.

But if you refuse to open your mouth and pray, the words won’t come out.

The objection I get when I say this to people – “I don’t want to fake it”. “I might be saying something that I don’t know or something that doesn’t make sense.”

That’s the point of praying in tongues. Not knowing all that you are praying for.

The hinderance you have to pray in tongues is because you are trying to rationalise what you say.

You want to know what to say before you say.

This is akin to being careful of the words you speak in the presence of the Father.

But as long as you continue to seek an explanation or clarification before praying in tongues, you will not speak in tongues.

Liking praying in tongues with you putting your faith in Christ Jesus.

At that time all you had to do was believe and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.

Most of the things you later learnt came as a result of later teachings, right?

Likewise, you can’t get all the details about praying in tongues before you start. You have to be in it by faith and watch the changes happen.

Consider the apostles in the early church.

They had only two responsibilities to ensure proper functioning of the church;

Studying the word and praying (praying in tongues). Acts 6:4

Apostle Paul stated that he prayed in tongues more than the whole congregation in theCorinthian church.

That means he prayed everywhere at all times.

And if you want to boost your immune system against attacks and mistakes, then this is the route to take.

Praying in tongues like I said is not as complicated as some have made it.

I remember when I used to attend prayer meetings and we had to pray all night for the Holy Spirit to come and fall on those who weren’t praying in tongues.

It’s amazing that most of the times, they started praying in tongues almost at dawn.

Does this mean you have to pray for that long before the Holy Spirit comes on you?

We didn’t know better then. In fact, the moment you ask the Holy Spirit to come on you, He is there at that very moment.

This means you don’t have to wait for that long to invite the Spirit of God into your life and start praying in tongues.

You only have to believe He is there with you. And as He gives you the utterance, you have to open your mouth and begin praying in tongues by faith.

This is where you might miss it.

You want the Holy Spirit to possess you and speak through you.

That’s not in the scripture. Anyone who ever prayed in tongues and still prays in tongues, knows you have to open your mouth and speak in faith.

So don’t wait for the overwhelming feeling and fire falling from heaven. That’s walking by sight.

You don’t need a manifestation to know that the Spirit of God is in you and with you.

If you invite Him to come into you and make your heart His home, He answers your prayer.

If there is a manifestation good, if there is none, better. Because we don’t walk by sight but by faith. This is the truth about praying in tongues.

Your part is to pray. And the Holy Spirit’s part is to use your prayer and make intercessions for you.

But when you pray only in your mother tongue, there are some things which you ought to pray for and against that will elude you.

Praying in tongues is God’s wisdom to destroy the devil’s works and plans in your life.

Because the enemy doesn’t know what you are saying, yet with God, you are praying mysteries and proclaiming victories.

Now do the following to start praying in tongues today.

If you have never believed and confessed Jesus as your Lord say the following;

Father, thank you for sending your Son to die for all my sins. I believe and confess Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour. I am saved by His death and delivered from all the wickedness in this world. Jesus is my Lord and saviour, in Jesus name I have prayed, Amen

After this invite the Holy Spirit into your heart by saying;

Father, I invite your Spirit into my heart. I pray that the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead will dwell in me and bring everything that is dead in me alive. I also receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And I pray that there would be a manifestation through the speaking in tongues now, in Jesus name. Amen.

Now open your mouth and begin to speak the utterance the Holy Spirit has put there.

It wont make sense to you, but it makes sense to the Spirit in you and your Father in heaven.

Don’t neglect this powerful gift of the Father to you.

Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty.

Thank you for reading!

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth lies the power to win.

September 27, 2018 By Emmanuel Onwuka Leave a Comment

Jesus Christ

Have you ever wondered what is it about the church in acts of the apostles that made them stand out?

If you go through the book of acts you will notice that the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth was central to all they did.

They healed by the name of Jesus Christ. All their teaching was on the person of Jesus Christ.

It was all about Jesus Christ.

If all they ever did was about Jesus Christ of Nazareth, then it is of utmost importance you understood the mystery behind the name of Jesus Christ.

In this post, I will try to share what I have experienced and how am still learning the power in the name.

To know and use the name the way the church in acts did, you must personally seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance in prayer and in the word of God.

If you have noticed, the name of Jesus is mentioned these days almost without reverence and awe.

When a footballer plays the ball over the goal post you scream Jesus.

If someone does something that doesn’t please you, the name of Jesus Christ is mentioned in response to disgust.

When the most powerful name in all the universe is used in such a manner, it doesn’t give you the assurance to trust in the name when you pray.

This has resulted in seeking to do things in your own way instead of trusting that at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ every knee (problem) bows

Don’t blame yourself, you didn’t know better.

Although it won’t be easy to stop calling Jesus Christ at every point in your conversation…

Through dependence on the Holy Spirit, you will learn to trust and rely on the name of Jesus Christ.

Faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

Recently I was going through the book of acts. Peter stated that the healing of the man at the beautiful gate was a result of faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

This got me thinking. And I would like you to join in the thoughts that I had.

Was the faith in the name of Jesus available before Peter commanded the man to rise or was it after he commanded the man to rise and walk?

Before answering that question, remember I stated earlier that to know and believe in the power of the name is dependent on the revelation was given by the Holy Spirit?

And the revelation in the name comes by praying and studying the word of God.

The apostle had two duties to perform – preaching the gospel and running the church.

They, therefore, prayed continually and gave themselves to the ministry of the word.

While they were at it, faith in the name of Jesus Christ grew in them.

So when Peter saw that man and demanded that stood and walked, He was only acting on the faith that was built through what he saw in the word of God. And building up himself in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Faith in the name of Jesus Christ is not magic.

If you desire it you can have it. It’s available to all that believes. And all you have to do is to make up your mind to seek Jesus Christ in the word and spend time building up yourself in your most holy faith.

Praying in tongues is a big deal.

There are spiritual heights you will never attain if you don’t give yourself to praying in the spirit.

The gift of the Holy Ghost was the first gift the Father gave to the church.

If the Father in all in His wisdom decided to give this gift as the first to His church, then it is wise on your part to take this gift very seriously.

Praying in the spirit was the secret sauce of the Apostle Paul.

He prayed earnestly in spirit and you still enjoy the results of his prayer till date.

Past and present heroes of faith all claim the same thing. They believe that praying in spirit is very in important to your spiritual growth.

Since this is the truth why then have you neglected giving heed to praying in spirit?

The beautiful thing about praying in the spirit is that you can do it all times and at every location.

Therefore I want to challenge you.

Going forward, find time to pray in the spirit. Consciously engage in praying in the holy ghost.

This builds you up and gives you faith in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All the solution to the problems in your life and around you is in praying.

If you are not taking prayer serious, then you are kidding yourself in your faith in Christ.

Start small and grow into it.

To be sincere prayer can be one of the hardest things for you if you don’t enjoy it.

This is the reason you have to start small and grow into it.

Consciously decide to do a 5 minutes prayer every day.

Consistency is better than a haphazard prayer life.

Don’t do it because you want a bragging right or to fulfill all righteousness.

See it as a time you spend to talk to your Father and friend.

It is only in spending much time in prayer and the Word, do you get to know the power in the name of Jesus because you will see it work.

Here are a few admonitions for you on praying…

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1

Conclusion

The power in the name of Jesus can work for you.

There are a lot of quick fixes out there in the name of solving problems.

But any problem you solve outside God is a recipe for disaster in the future.

Learn to depend on the name of Jesus Christ through studying the Word and prayer.

There isn’t any man/woman, alive or dead who takes prayer and the word serious, and ever regretted that decision.

Your case will not be an exception!

Than you for reading!

On hearing God; How to make smart choices and less mistakes.

August 2, 2018 By Emmanuel Onwuka Leave a Comment

hearing God

Do you agree that hearing God would solve all your problems faster and better?

What then would you give to hearing God speak with you daily and help you make wise choices?

If you said anything, then give me the next 10 minutes to help you solve the mystery of hearing God once and for all.

You want to get married but you don’t know who. The mistake of marrying the wrong person floods your mind. As a Christian, you don’t want a divorce after marriage. Hence hearing God for marriage is very critical.

You want to know what you should be doing now. Your purpose is not clear and you wish the heavens can open and an angel appears and tells you what you should be doing and how to go about it.

These are genuine concerns. And God knows about it. But the problem is that you have relegated hearing God to a mystic experience.

Hearing God is not that complicated.

As a matter of fact, God spoke to you more than once since you started reading this post but you most likely considered it as another random thought.

The problem is in waiting for a voice from the outside. That’s risky. Because demons can also speak to you from the outside.

Today you don’t have to wait for a voice from the outside. The Father, through His Spirit, speaks to you from the inside.

It is an internal guiding system. And you have been using this guiding system without knowing it.

Brace yourself as I show you how to know the leading of God and following it.

Hearing God starts and ends from the inside.

The problem with most new covenant believers is that they live with the old covenant belief system.

In the old covenant, the Holy Spirit wasn’t resident in anyone. He came upon kings, priest, and prophets.

And after speaking through them, He leaves them and they continued walking as mere men.

In the new covenant, the Holy Spirit lives in you.

He dwells in your and is there to help you with everything you would ever ask Him. Remember, everything you ask Him!

If this is true, as it is, why then have you relegated hearing God to certain people?

It is because you consider yourself not qualified to have the Spirit of Christ in you.

What you ought to know is that you have the Spirit if the Living God in you and all the directions and guidance you will ever need is already inside of you. You only have to train yourself to know and follow Him (more on this later).

So it is wrong for you to wait for people to tell you what God said about a situation you are going through.

Any prophet or man who claims to have heard God on your behalf, should confirm what you already know.

This was the case with the apostle Paul and the prophet Agabus. Paul knew what was waiting for him in Jerusalem before the prophet spoke. So it was no surprise that the Apostle already made up His mind on following Gods will instead of the misguided prophecy from the prophet.

You have the Spirit of God in you. Discerning His direction and guidance happens inside you. Sharpen your discernment by spending time with your Bible and praying in the spirit.

Don’t delegate your relationship with the Father to another man. You are a son/daughter of God. Act like one.

You are one spirit with the Lord.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV

Your relationship with the Holy Spirit is like a marriage. Your spirit and the Spirit of the Father is one.

Hence when you have an important decision to make, all you need do is ask. And follow what your spirit says.

So let’s say you want to know who you have to marry.

But before answering that question let me makes this very clear to you.

There is no one perfect person created in the universe for you.

When it’s time to get married, the Father gives you options and also guides you in making the decision from within. So before anyone prophesies about a husband or a wife to you, you have been considering marrying that person.

Also, you have to desist from the thoughts that there is no one out there to marry. If you desire to marry, ask the Lord in prayer and trust Him to bring you a spouse.

Now let me prove to you that you God leaves the choice of a partner to you, contrary to the so-called “will of God” mentality.

The daughters of Zelophehad

Zelophehad was an Israelite that died without a son.

Under the Law, his possession belonged to other close relatives because he didn’t have a son to inherit his estate.

But His daughters demanded their father’s inheritance to pass to them. When this matter came to Moses, he took it to the Lord and the Lord replied;

This is the thing which the Lord commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry. Numbers 36:6

Zelophehad’s daughters would have access to his estate if they married from their father’s tribe. And they had the liberty to choose anyone they liked.

When it came to making a choice of whom to marry, the Lord gave these women a choice. They chose whoever they thought best.

So contrary to the popular opinion that God chooses for you, scriptures have it that you can choose who think is the best for you.

Hence the whole charade of hearing God for marriage will not be necessary for you if you maintained a consistent fellowship with Father.

Because when it is time to choose whom you think is the best, hearing God would have already been sorted. Hearing God, in the case of choosing a life partner, is simple when you have a consistent fellowship with Him.

This part of scripture is from the old testament and since a matter is established in the mouth of two or three witnesses, I will give you another verse from the new testament.

Apostles Paul’s advice to the Corinthian church.

Like the church today, the Corinthian church had questions about marriage and how to choose.

Again the apostle made it very clear that the decision does not lie with God. He gives you the right to choose who you would spend your life with. Here is how the apostle puts it…

The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband is dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:39

Same theme for both verses. You can marry whoever you wish to as long and they are believers.

The only condition the Lord specifies is that “you must marry a believer”. Every other thing is secondary.

I made all the points above to say – stop fussing about missing it in marriage. You will know if you are not supposed to marry someone.

The Spirit in you will tell you. A quick way to know this is to check if you have peace about marrying this person or not.

Everything might look good on the outside, but what does your heart say to you?

Remember that you are one spirit with the Lord. I would advise you commit that verse of scripture to heart.

The Spirit of the Father will either give you peace or take away your peace when it comes to settling down with someone.

If you have peace and the outside looks unsure, let your peace guide you.

But if everything on the outside looks great and you don’t have peace about it, then be very careful.

Let the peace of God guide you.

I have made reference to the peace of God without given you bible verses with it.

The reason I make this emphasis is that this same peace will guide you to know what you should focus on as a career in fulfilling your purpose.

But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:26-27 KJV

The Holy Spirit can teach you anything if you let the peace of God reign in your heart.

Now, how do you feel about the line of work you have chosen?

Are you at peace with yourself or do you sense you might regret your choice in 20 years time?

God created you with a passion for something. All you need do is to find what it is and follow your dreams.

The problem is that you are wondering how you can make a profit from your passion.

This is easier than you think it is. The answers you need lies in the pages of business books and literature.

The way it happened to me was that I stopped enjoying my work although I was good at it. I walked away from a promotion because of dissatisfaction from the inside. I didn’t see the full picture. But I knew it was time to follow my heart.

Like Tullian Tchividjian said…

It has taken me 46 years, but I am now convinced that one of the best things God does for us is to keep us from knowing anything beyond the next step.

You have to trust God enough to lead you one step at a time.

If you enjoy what you do and have all the fulfillment you think you need please carry on even if it gets harder.

Working in your passion doesn’t guarantee a smooth ride, but it gives you much fulfillment while you enjoy the journey.

Remember the heavens will not open and an angel will not come down. In hearing God for your purpose you have to trust God and let His peace guide you.

Conclusion.

The summary of all that I have written is that hearing God is easier when you have a consistent fellowship with Him.

If you hear an information for the first time from another source, instead of what you already know within, then you are not taking your fellowship with the Spirit of God serious.

This is not about attending church. Although that is very important.

It is about spending time to read the Bible and pray in the spirit.

As you do this, you build yourself to following His Spirit.

Also, when it comes to choosing a life partner, the Father lets you make the choice. The problem is that you’ve not taken time to know the way of the Father. This makes you uncertain when you have to make a choice.

This also result in allowing other people who you consider spiritual to hear from God on your behalf.

Don’t be like that! Don’t delegate your rights to the throne of Grace to others.

Your purpose is already in you.

What would you do for free for the rest of your life without receiving payment?

For me, it is writing/talking/teaching about Jesus and creating courses that help people know more about their saviour.

I can do that for free. But my courses and books are not free.

You have to find that one thing you love and also find a way for that one thing to bring money to you.

Remember, always let the peace of God rule your heart.

How do you hear from God when you want to make decision? Please share in a comment below.

Why it is hard for you to believe God can keep His Word.

May 24, 2018 By Emmanuel Onwuka Leave a Comment

believe God

Did you ever have a family member that made promises to you and failed?

I had one. This uncle would come to our house and take us to a store in the neighborhood and have us point at toys we liked.

Then he would promise to buy the toys the next time he visits. But I can’t remember him ever buying a toy for me or any of my siblings.

After a couple of disappointments, we learned not to trust whatever he said.

In fact, as kids, my siblings and I, associated his name with lying.

Yours might not be a family member. It might be a friend, boss or even your pastor.

You’ve have heard prophecy after prophecy. Yet none is coming to pass.

Now, this attitude of hearing and believing and not seeing results is affecting your relationship with God.

You want to believe God but you don’t know how.

The conclusion, though erroneous, is that God doesn’t keep His Word.

You are not to blame. Experiences affect the way you see life.

Yet there is more.

Although it is getting harder to believe God these days, there is still a need to believe God.

You know in your heart that you want to believe Him but you don’t know how.

The way to believe God and get results is to believe in His Word.

It is possible to believe in God and not believe God.

By believing in God I mean you believe there is God somewhere. Although you have never seen Him, you know He exists.

To believe God is to believe what He said in His Word.

This means when you find a promise in the Bible, you know it is yours.

It is not enough for people to describe how good God is to them.

Those testimonies are great.

But to believe God and get results in your prayer life, you need to meet God in the Word.

The Word of God is God.

Christ Jesus is the Word of God.

The scriptures testify of Him.

Religious leaders in the gospels didn’t know this.

They were standing in front of God in the flesh and didn’t know it.

These men were doctors of the law. They memorized scriptures and knew every law of God.

But they didn’t believe God.

Everything they read and memorized came to pass in Christ right in front of them and they didn’t see it.

It is possible to know the scriptures and not believe God in it.

Have you ever experienced people who could finish quoting almost any verse of Bible from the pew?

Most times these people do this and don’t have a clue of the revelation of the Word.

This may be you. But don’t be mad at yourself.

The revelation you seek is in seeing Jesus Christ in the Word.

It is not possible to believe God if you don’t believe Jesus Christ.

You have to start with Jesus Christ.

The doctors of Law knew the scriptures and did not believe in Jesus Christ.

You have to know the scriptures and believe Jesus Christ.

The Lord made it clear. You do not believe Moses. For if you believe Moses, you will believe in me.

It is good to hear what others have to say about believing God.

Yet, nothing can replace a personal experience with the Lord through Jesus Christ in the Word.

To believe God is to keep believing Him.

I have read and heard of people who claimed they have tried to believe God and it didn’t work.

Well, if that is your attitude then be sure that it won’t work for you either.

You can’t come to God with the attitude to try and see if it works.

It is like going into the relationship with the doors opened to bail when life happens.

For he that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Diligence in seeking Him is not about your efforts in pleasing Him.

It is about trusting with all your heart that what He said He would do.

This was the attitude our father Abraham had.

He believed God.

Abraham kept believing against all odd.

When it seems all hope was lost, the Lord made good all His promises to Abraham.

Like Abraham, you might be mixing your faith with works.

One of the reasons Abraham had to wait for long to receive Isaac was because he sought an alternative.

The promise to him was you will have a child by Sarah.

But at a point, it seemed it was taking too long and he heeded to having a child with Hagar.

The Apostle Paul in describing this incidence likened it to the two covenants.

One made at Mount Sinai and other covenant that represents the heavenly Jerusalem. Galatians 5

When Abraham decided to help himself, he limited God.

God wanted him to trust Him.

You can’t believe God and share His glory with Him.

All things he wants to do and will ever do for you comes by Grace.

This is the reason the scriptures says…

And they that are of faith are blessed with the believing Abraham. Galatians 3:9

Follow Abraham your father

Although the Lord kept mute about Abraham’s mistake of heeding his wife’s advice…

The Lord didn’t use it against Abraham.

Our father Abraham tried suggesting the possibility of Ishmael being his heir but the Lord said no.

The promise of a child by Sarah still stood.

It is possible that the reason you don’t believe God is because you know you have gone against what He told you.

Your sins might make you think God will not keep His promise to you, but that will have to change.

God’s promise to you is without repentance.

If He said He will do it for you, then be sure that He will do it.

God’s goodness leads you to repentance.

You have to believe God again despite your mistakes.

After the meeting and the covenant with God, and a child by the slave girl, Abraham already lost the ability to help himself.

Then it was at this point that Lord fulfilled all the promise He made to Abraham.

Could it be that the reason it is taking too long for you to see a result is that you have a plan B in your heart?

People can be genuine when they pray. But it hard to say what is going on in their heart.

This is the reason you must never compare yourself with others, either good or bad.

Your inability to believe God may be because you have seen people who trusted and followed God outwardly and don’t have results…

And you’ve concluded that it is not enough to believe God.

Imagine if Abraham had a servant who saw how devoted he and Sarah were to God.

This servant would not be aware that they had gone against what God said with regards to having a child by Hagar.

It is good to follow people of faith. Yet, you need to follow the Lord by seeking Him personally in the Word.

Believe God in the new covenant way

Recall the comparison the Apostle made to the two women in Abraham’s life?

Both represented two covenants.

When Abraham tried to work with Hagar, the Lord wasn’t interested in it.

The promised child would only come through Sarah.

She represented the new covenant made with better promises.

So you see, you have to believe God in the new covenant way.

To believe God in the new covenant way, you only have to believe.

Believing means to have faith in the Word of God.

The scripture says the righteous shall live by faith. Hebrews 10:38

You are righteous through Christ.

Hence, you have to live by faith in what Christ said in the Word.

Again it is not about what good you do or what bad you ignore, it is about faith in Jesus Christ.

God would not have you believe in Him and have a plan B.

It is so important you know and believes this.

He is so jealous of anything and anyone that tries to steal your attention from Him.

Answers to your prayers are not as hard to get as you think.

You don’t believe God can do it; this is the bitter truth you have to swallow.

This has to change. Start studying and believing what you see in the Word of God.

God does not keep good things from you.

He that spared not His Son but gave Him up for us all, how shall Him not with also gives us freely all things to enjoy.

Did you notice the word freely?

It is by grace and not by works.

The Lord is more willing to bless you than you being willing to receive.

Conclusion.

Bad experience is not a good teacher.

If you have consistently not seen results it will be hard to believe God.

One way to change that is to make God your only choice.

Learn to study and confess the Word of God over your life.

Confessing the Word builds your spirit to trust and believe God.

You have to trust to the point where you believe God beyond every doubt.

The Lord’s desire is to have all the glory in your life.

Anything He gives, He gives it freely. He wants you to have this attitude towards Him.

Don’t be occupied with what you can do for God.

Receive and enjoy what He did for you, then you can serve Him better.

Abraham tried to help God and God didn’t approve it.

Don’t ask God for a favor and make other plans in case he delays.

It has to be God and Him alone.

And such courage only comes when you hold on to His Word alone.

How easy has it been for you to believe in God? Do you have consistent answers to your prayers? Please share in the comment session.

About Emmanuel Onwuka

Hello, I'm Emmanuel. I am a Christian and I believe in the substitutionary work of Christ on the cross. I share my thoughts on the finished work of Christ through this blog and pray you will get to know Jesus more as you read. I run a weekly twitter series #RenewedWalk on #Friday by 5pm WAT. When I am not reading or writing about my saviour am most likely driving around Lagos or seeing a movie with friends.
